Blood, Blood Everywhere

Guess what? Yesterday I was making dinner with my mom, and I chopped off a segment of my left forefinger! :D It bled profusely and had to be sewed back onto my hand at the hospital. It’s looking a little patchy right now, but other than that, I’m fine! :3

Just kidding. It’s actually only a little cut, but it did bleed a lot. That’s dumb. Little cuts shouldn’t bleed. D:

And what’s more annoying? I cut another finger from washing clothes. That’s right. Who gets cut washing clothes? I only had to handwash a pair of jeans because I spilled something on them. My mom had just done the laundry, and I couldn’t wait till the next time because by then it would have become permanent. So I was scrubbing the jeans with my hands, and then when I was done, I noticed that my fingers were hurting: The finger that already had a cut was bleeding again, and another finger was now covered in tiny little bloody cuts where the fabric had rubbed against it. >.> Sigh.

Oh, and as for presents for my parents, I got my mom one of those papaya hand creams from the Body Shop. :D It smells so nice! I didn’t get anything for my dad yet, though. Oh well, he’s not gonna be here till Feb. 17th anyway.

I’m so sorry for your finger(s). I usually cut mine while peeling potatos. It’s really annoying.

You did it again to me! You really had me going! ::chuckle:: You and your “Wolf!” crying entries ;)

Are you looking to get your dad a gift priced similarly to the hand cream?

AH foolish Cindy. What a trickster you are. D:
What did you use to clean your jeans? Maybe that’s what damaged your skin… or maybe you just washed them for too long and then your skin got all soft and then it ripped and gosh that would suck. >

Wow…you must have a really high pain tolerance!

I panicked when I read your first paragraph, literally. But I am happy to read that it wasn’t true because chopping off an entire finger may sometimes turn fatal. -Shudders.

Anyway, take care of those two little fingers! Having cuts on the fingers can be inconvenient sometimes because we use our fingers for so many things. :P

I’m so gullible! Darn you xD

Just go easy on your hands. Or wait, it might be one of those things where the more you injure the more tolerance/immunity you build up. But still, less friction on that skin!

Whoa, you got me going for a while there with your somewhat graphic title. Lol

Girl! You oughta be more careful with your hands. At the rate you’re going, by next month, you’ll only have half a finger left. ;D
